Spring Quarterly Meeting

Sunday, May  31

Our Spring meeting will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, at Our Lady of Victory Parish Center, on Roxbury Road south of W. 5th Avenue.  David Garick, Editor of Catholic Times will tell us "What I've Learned about the Diocese of Columbus."  

   David Garick has been the editor of Catholic Times, our diocesan newspaper, since May 2007. In those two years he has had a unique opportunity to explore the nature of the Catholic experience in central Ohio and to share it with Catholics across our diocese. Most people are unaware of the fascinating Catholic heritage we have in this area. That heritage continues to breathe vibrancy into our parishes and Catholic institutions. That is what now forms the editorial backbone of our diocesan newspaper.

   Dave is a native of Newark, Ohio and a graduate of Bowling Green State University.  He has lived in the Columbus area for 30 years and has an extensive background in journalism, public relations, and politics.  He and his wife Barbara are members of St. Joseph Cathedral Parish. 

Election Results

The slate returned by the Nominating Committee was the same officers who have served for a number of years.  There being no other nominations, these were unanimously elected: Pat Moonay Chairman, Don Schlegel Vice Chairman, Rick Jackson Secretary, Mark Gideon Treasurer.  Mr. Mooney stated that he will not run in our next election in 2011, so we will have a large pair of shoes to fill at that time.

A limited number of bound volumes of the three year period 2006-2008 of the Bulletin is available, at $25 for members or subscribers, $35 for all others.  Please use the form below to order. 

Membership
